Let’s take out this bulkhead and see what happens! Oftentimes bulkheads carry a lot of weight and that’s about it.  By removing this bulkhead, we added light and height!  We converted an awkward clutter-collecting hub into a functional and beautiful pantry and refrigerator storage space, added peninsula seating, and opened the kitchen by removing an awkward and shallow island.  The result is a kitchen that shines like her family:  bright, inviting, and full of energy.
