They say design is in the details, and we loved adding charm to elevate this kitchen design.  The client brought a general layout to the design process and together we honed in on the finishes and cabinetry and molding details.  We scaled the layout so that it was full but not crowded, and gave this family of 5 a gorgeous light-filled space that still feels cozy.  The warm walnut on the hood and island brings a natural elegance and creates movement.  We added a beverage center that doubles as a perfect teen spot for homework and gatherings and finished it with a custom green finish that coordinates with other design elements in the home.  The client loved the idea of pocket doors so we added 2 sets-one that houses the beloved toaster oven (which has now become one of our favorite appliances, thank you)-and another that hosts the coffee bar.  The custom wood hood is the finishing touch that really elevates the design.  This smart, fun-loving and effortlessly gracious family now has a beautiful kitchen to gather and connect.
