Working with beautiful knotty pine ceilings jump started this kitchen design.  We worked closely with the homeowner to choose charcoal, alder, and white finishes so create a cohesive design that flows with the rest of the home.  The results are stunning!  Once again, we were able to remove the bulkhead, elevating the ceiling with 39” shaker cabinets and a simple 3” crown trim at the top.  The natural alder base cabinetry grounds the space and brings warmth and texture to the design.  For a family that cooks, the pull out spice storage, prep island, and double ovens add function.  For storage, we were able to convert an awkward alcove into double pantries with roll trays, and a pup station for sweet little Leo the Frenchie (we had lots of talks throughout the design process as Leo came to love the treats I brought him). This hardworking family now has a kitchen that will work for them, as well as give them space to entertain in an inviting, and truly uplifting space.
