They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, but in this case, it was definitely the client-we just matched it the best we could!  This client wanted to better utilize the dining room space, so we took out the wall. That also allowed us to connect to the adjacent living room and move the dining table to the hearth room. The result is a home that flows with this young family.  Sweet touches like a footed 3 drawer cabinet under the window, warm floating shelves, and an open bookshelf give the space heart.  Smart touches like a double pantry, beverage center, and drawer organizers give this kitchen function.  By choosing finishes of navy blue for the island and light reflecting simply white for the perimeter, the client gave this home heart.
